More Pets

Yesterday was the looooongest day! I headed back to work after a week off so of course my desk was piled high, my inbox was stuffed and the phone rang, rang, rang. Calgon take me away, lol. I came home, cooked dinner and crashed. Clearly, I do not yet have 100% of my strength back yet.

I have a couple samples that I haven't shown from the My Pets II set. These animals are soooo cute and fun to work with. This first one I paired up with a sentiment from the Kim Hughes Little Guys set.

The card was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder that reminded me of the skin this fella might have. He was colored with Copic markers, I dotted several shades of green all over his body rather than blending my colors.

This second one uses the lion in the set. I had some pieces of this Imaginisce paper in my stash so I turned it into a teacher thank you. I remember buying it last year when the CKC convention was in Buffalo. The card is 4 1/2" square and would nicely fit a gift card inside.
The sentiment on this one is another Kim Hughes set, this one is called Scripty Words. It is one I reach for a lot.
