Three Cheers...

for Chairs! Yep, that is the name of another Moxie Fab challenge going on at the moment. Click here for all the details, it's not too late to join in the fun!
I almost thought I couldn't play along because in the mountains of stamps I own I couldn't find a single chair! Ah, but then I remembered some Rosie's Roadshow stamps I had tucked away.
I paper pieced the chair with some new October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper and cut Lena the duck out before perching her on the comfy seat. Isn't she so cute sitting there? I went over all the lines of the chair with a Cool Grey #2 Copic Marker for a smidge of depth.
The other paper is from October Afternoons Fly a Kite paper series. The teals and yellows are so yummy aren't they?? There's that Quickutz Polka Dot embossing folder again...I am in love, yes I am, lol. A bit of crazy stitching, a sliver of the Upper Crest Fiskars border punch and a bit o' ribbon is all she needed to be complete. (another new love...that Tim Holtz tiny attacher mini stapler!!)
You like? It took my still-foggy-with-anesthesia brain awhile to get it done but I like it muchly!

This is just "ducky" Tracy. What an adorable little quacker sitting in that luscious big comfy dotted chair. The papers are FAB and I love your doodly stitching that looks like winding stems. CUTE!!
