Triggered

It's me, in real time. I am doing really well following my gallbladder surgery on Monday. Very minimal pain, just tired. I keep a family blog so if you want to read more about my "accessory " organ, click here.
Recovering at home this week means I can stamp! I have long wanted to play along with some of the challenges over at the Moxie Fab blog but haven't had time. I loved this week's Trigger Tuesday challenge, the colors were right up my alley! Check out this lovely purse they posted as inspiration.
I stuck pretty close to the sample because I loved everything about it.
I dusted off several of my Paper Trey sets for this one. To create the darker bottom piece I embossed a Polka Dot Basics stamp onto celery paper and brayered olive ink over top. The top celery piece is dry embossed with a Quickutz Polka Dot folder. The flower is from PTI's Friend til the End set, I used Copic markers to color it. The sentiment is from another PTI set, can't remember the name off hand. I figured I better make it a Thank You card since I have so many I need to send out. The hot pink twill is from Taylors store.
How did I do? Why don't you play along too?
It was so fun to stamp again. I even played along with another Moxie challenge but I will keep that for tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

So glad to hear you're recovering well Tracy! I had that surgery too (more of our kindred-spiritedness hey??) But, mine was emergent, I had pancreatitus so bad...I was so sick, so my recovery was slow. How awesome for time to stamp!

Love that gorgeous card too, fantastic creation from the inspiration! Beautifully colored too!
