Stampavie Challenge

The humidity the last couple of days has been brutal and has completely sucked the life out of me. Today, I managed to get out of work an hour early and instead of plopping on the sofa, I headed straight for my stamp studio. I wanted to play along with the latest Stampavie challenge. This one is a sketch by Diane.

Because my image was so large, I went with a 5 1/4" square card for my base. My base is pieced out of some Cosmo Cricket paper and some red card stock that I embossed with the Quickutz Apple folder. I have had the folder for a few weeks now waiting for just the right project. The apples are so darling! Too bad most of it got covered up in the end.

Coloring was done primarily with Copics and then some accents of Prismacolor pencils. Now that I look at my panels, they didn't follow the sketch very well did they? Close enough for me.

We had a bit of a cold front move through so some of the humidity has subsided. Maybe I will have more energy to get a bit more crafting done!
Thanks for stopping by!
