Mambo Walk

This summer has been soooo HOT! And HUMID. I don't seem to be tolerating it very well either! We have a couple of window AC units in the bedrooms to help us sleep at night but they don't help much during the day. Stamping while sweating is gross, lol. After several days of not creating I decided to stamp up some images, take my Copics into my bedroom and crank the AC. I was able to color up several images that are slowly being made into cards. Here is one of those images...

All my photo editing could not restore the true Melon Mambo (SU) color on this card! I used a new SU embossing folder on the Melon panel, it is really a lovely folder and picks up the elegance of this cute Stampavie image. Her coat has small rhinestones for buttons and her doggie and hat are stamped 2x's, cut out and popped up.

Thanks for all the prayers and kind words about the cooking show. In the end, we put hubby in front of the camera by himself and during the last few minutes of taping, the boys and I stood in the background sampling the pie. Greg did a great job!

Have you gotten your latest issue of Paper Crafts? Be sure to check out page 50 for the Swanky Damask Purse. I was beyond excited to have PC publish something of mine! A template for the purse will be posted on their site in the next couple of days. There was a glitch with the original email they sent telling my my project was accepted. My debut in PC almost wasn't! Thankfully this story has a happy ending!

Thanks for stopping by.
