More Recipes

I have been having trouble with my eyes lately, trouble focusing mostly and it is freaking me out a bit. The doctor gave me some drops to try so I hope it improves soon. I tried to do some stamping last night and just had to walk away. So, I will share 2 more of the recipe cards I made over the weekend.

I am half German, spent 6 years growing up in Germany and my mom still lives there. I wish we could afford to visit as a family! If for no other reason than to eat fresh brotchen and authentic schnitzel. We looooove German food and I often make dishes at home. Potato pancakes, pork roasts, spaetzle, red cabbage...mmmm! This recipe for German beef goulash is one of our favorites. The long simmer times produces a very tender meat but you will have to leave yourself time to make it, this is no 30 minute meal. Totally worth it though.

I found this piece of Basic Grey paper that I had stamped in my discard pile so I pulled out that Unity stamp and used it for my card as well. I was in a fall color mood when I made my cards last week.

When we have banana's in need of being used up I usually make bread but sometimes I splurge and make this banana cake with cream cheese frosting. It is super moist and yummy!

Here is my not-so-exciting card, lol. This must have been the last one I made and my creativity had run out. No banana stamps in my collection so I went with stars. Lame I know. They can't all be home runs ;).

There you have it. I hope you enjoy!

That banana cake looks so good! I like how you used the tab punch on the side of the card, very cute. Rea

I didn't have banana cake for several years and then my MIL made one this past weekend. Now I read this...Maybe I'm supposed to follow suit? LOL.

I'm sorry your eyes are bothering you, Tracy.

These recipe cards are a double-treat for us -- lovely cards and recipes too! I can't wait to try the goulash and the cake looks delicious!

Feel better!

I made this banana cake, and oh my, it is so good! I made one addition that you have got to try, chocolate chips! I took this as a dessert to two friends I was taking meals to and they all loved it too! I can't wait to try your other recipes.

Thanks so much!
