Just Believe Set

Happy Wednesday readers! Today we continue on with the simple is more theme. Well, simple means I get more done theme ;).

Even though I am no longer a demo with SU, I still love much of what they offer. I recently ordered the set Just Believe, it was on my very first list of wants from the new catalog. I used the round image in the set to create this set of cards...

I think there is a Cuttlebug folder that gives a similar embossed look but I don't own it. Instead I cut my very vanilla panels to 5 1/4 by 4 and used my Scor Buddy to score lines at 1" and 2" from one end. Then I used my Swiss Dots folder above and below the score lines. After they were run through the machine my score lines were flattened a bit so I just re-scored them for a crisp look. I stamped the image in Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and the sadly retired Bermuda Bay. They are layered onto scallop circles of the same color and adhered with dimensionals. I used a variety of sentiments from the Sincere Salutations set.

This set came together quickly and will make a nice little gift to have on hand.

Tomorrow's cards are even simpler, it you can imagine that.
