This is a card I made for the limited supply challenge on SCS. The challenge was to do snowflakes in shades of brown. I immediately thought of cracked glass. I ended up spending way more time on this than I had intended. The snowflake from The Snowflake Spot was inked in close to cocoa and then I ran my chocolate chip marker over to accent. I sponged chocolate chip ink over the edges of the vanilla paper to age it a bit. Covered the whole thing in Versamark and UTEE, but before heating it I very sparingly sprinkled some Iridescent Ice EP on top. I heated it and then applied a second layer of UTEE and heated it again. After a few minutes in the freezer, I "cracked the glass" by bending it back and forth. To accentuate the cracks, I rubbed creamy caramel and chocolate chip ink into the them. It doesn't show in the photo but I love the hint of sparkle the II EP created and it looks embedded in the glass. I created a gold frame by embossing a stamp from Sculpted Style in gold EP on gold card stock. I stamped 2 different snowflakes on the mellow moss card using mellow moss and creamy caramel ink. The bravo burgundy has Linen on it and the "wishes" I embossed comes from a sentiment stamp from the Snowflakes set. The finished card measures 5 1/4" square. Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day.

This is a beautiful card. I just tried doing this technique for the first time. I love how you used II in the cracked glass. I hope you don't mind if I try this on my next one. Thanks for sharing!
