Cherish

This is another project for Wednesday night. We average 15 people and have an hour and a half to make 3 cards, a technique card and a non card project so simplicity is key. Someone requested wedding cards so here it is. I love this color combo, looks like a Tiffany's jewelry box (not that I own a Tiffany's piece myself!). The Cuttlebug embossing folders really make an easy card look elegant in two turns of the handle. In this case it is the Swirl folder embossing a piece of vellum. Adhesive tends to show through vellum so I have hidden it behind the stamped panel. The church is from the stamp set Fairy Tale Wedding, it is such a sweet, simple drawing so I didn't do much to it other than add some yellow in the windows and some gray on the door and steeple top. It is punched out with a mega scallop square and mounted on a square of black. I used the large oval punch on the bottom corner of the vellum and then used the small oval punch on the words, setting it on a dimensional. Narrow black organdy ribbon finishes it off.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is very striking! I don't have the Cuttlebug yet, but I'm gonna get one!

I have to agree that it is striking and a great wedding card! I'll keep this in mind if I'm needing one. Thanks for the inspiration!
