While blog browsing the other day I came across a post by Diane (Cookiestamper) where she used this Inkadinkado bird. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago and hadnt' used it yet, her card inspired me to get them out. I brayered a couple of pieces of glossy card stock with soft sky and old olive ink, not sure where those color choices came from. The bird is just stamped over top with black Palette ink. Note: using clear stamps on glossy paper makes for a very slippery combination, so be careful. I filled in some of the leaves with more olive ink. The card on the left uses some Memory box patterned paper and May Arts striped ribbon I got from one of Jody's ribbon shares. The card on the right has a piece that was Cuttlebugged and sewn. My attempt at doing a zigzag stitch looks rather like a birds nest mess but I used it anyway! I find these colors so soothing.
stamps: Inkadinkado, PTI sentiments
cardstock: soft sky, old olive, basic black, glossy white, Memory Box DP
Ink: black Palette, old olive, soft sky
other: brayer, May Arts Ribbon, Cuttlebug birds and swirls folder, dimensionals, stitching
