Other than my crooked stitching I love how this turned out. This card is rather large, around 9"x4" and fits into a large open ended SU envelope which I believe has been retired. The chipboard is something from my stash that I embossed with certainly celery craft ink and clear EP. I went over the edges with a chocolate chip marker. I stamped the owls with Palette Burnt Umber and colored them with Copic markers. I punched them out with a 1 3/8" circle punch and layered them with a chocolate chip scallop circle. Their feet seemed to be hanging in mid air so I cut the bottoms straight so they "perched" better. I used one of the stamps in the set to make the 2 branches and connected then with a trunk using a brown Copic marker. The leaves were colored in with a green Souffle pen. The Rosie's Roadshow stamp actually reads "who loves you, baby?" but since I didn't need the "who" this time I omitted it. The patterned paper is by Crate Paper and is layered over a base of celery. The corners are brown dew drops.Greg loved the card!
Thanks for stopping by my corner of blogland!
