I am so excited!! I had an incredibly productive day. I was up at 6 am and ready to go so I managed to get a card done before work and then tonight I did several more. I have blog post for at least 3 days!!
I ordered several new stamps from the Chichiboulie line at Stamping Bella and they arrived today. They are so darling! Matilda Muffinbread I ordered specifically to make a birthday card for someone special. Princess Paige turns 4 on Saturday. She is the daughter of friends of ours and I had the joy of watching her in my home several days a week for 2 years. She is a girly girl if there ever was one, lol. I paper pieced her skirt and watercolored the rest with reinkers. This card is 4 1/4" square and the image holds the top flap in place. I stuck 4 one dollar bills inside for the birthday girl. I hope she likes it, it brought me delight making it with her in mind.
While I was at it I colored in a second image of Matilda using a different color scheme. On this one I cut out the cupcake, mounted it on dimensionals and covered the top with Stardust Stickles.
I really didn't have much in my stack of stamps for little girls or anything with images like these. These are just too fun!
Blessings on your day!
