Class Projects

For the summer I agreed to teach one class a month at a local rec center. We are doing themed classes and this month happens to be Christmas in July-gift ideas. You will see that we are emphasizing the gifts more than the Christmas part. Our projects include a mini clipboard picture frame, a microscope slide/snowman pin, a magnetic list pad, a monogram notecard set and a nugget tin. We have a broad range of skill so I try to keep the projects manageable. I like to give them ideas and techniques and let them springboard from there. Sometimes if a project is too complex people get discouraged and feel that it is not something they can duplicate on their own. Not to mention we have to get this all done in a 2 1/2 hour time frame! Yet within these projects are techniques like rock n roll, embossing, distressing and more.
If you are in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area and would like to join us, we would love to have you! We are meeting at the Village of Lewiston Rec Center in the basement of the Red Brick School at 6pm. Cost is $25.00 and you must pre-register and pay. Contact Marianne at 754.1990 to reserve a spot.
We leave shortly to pick up the boys from camp. It will be good to see them!
Have a great day.
