Cardinals

I hope you enjoyed a nice long weekend. We certainly did. We have had rain practically every weekend this summer but this weekend was rain free and full of sunshine. Our temps were even above average. Yesterday we had a picnic with several families from Rochester. It was a good time! And it gets better...the kids go back to school tomorrow!! I am ready.
I shared before that when we were on vacation I spent time coloring in sheets of stamped images. One of the images I colored was an Inkadinkadoo stamp of birds. I used the Copic markers for the coloring. Here are 3 of the cards I made with the images. Card 1: always artichoke, vanilla, black, Cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon, ticket corner punch, Nestability dies.
Card 2: I thought the image could easily work as a Christmas card. I used the new Cuttlebug snow folder, I like the Nordic-like look it gives. Here I used the new riding hood red along with artichoke, oval punch, Nestability dies, artichoke grosgrain ribbon, gold Liquid Pearls.
Card 3: I used the square nestability dies to cut out the image but oriented it as a diamond. Again I used a Cuttlebug folder on the riding hood red. I think this one is still missing something but I can't put my finger on it.
Thanks for stopping by, I wish you a blessed day!!

I love these birds! It's one of my favorite stamps in a long time and I've still not laid my hands on it. You did beautiful coloring on them with your Copics! It's nice to have the images colored and ready to go. Now you have three wonderful cards!
