Let's Get Scrappy!

Scrappy designs are not my strong suit but like I said in my last post, play around and practice. It is really one of the fun aspects of stamping because in the end, it is just paper and ink. What do you have to lose? You may find a new love.
Cornish Heritage Farms is releasing a new Scrapblock on Friday called the "Bracket". In case you don't know what a scrapblock is, it is a 6"x6" stamp (yeah, whoa huge!) perfect for scrapbooks. Many of the patterns easily translate to cards as well. Gotta love full coverage! I have several scrapblocks on my wish list but this new release is actually my first. It's a fun one too!
Here is an A2 sized card I made using a portion of the stamp...

I stamped it onto some Graphic 45 holiday paper and the rest of the card came out of the vintage feel and colors in the paper. I found a felt embellishment on my last trip to my LSS, it really adds a warm touch. The snowflake is a Spellbinder die that I covered in Diamond Dust. The sentiment is from CHF's set, Joyeux Noel.

The stamp is perfect for adding journaling to a page. If I only scrapbooked, lol. Maybe someday I will pick it up again. I just don't have the patience for it at the moment. I like the instant gratification of cards.
I have another project to share using this Bracket Scrapblock in a somewhat unusual way. Look for that later this week.
Have a great day!

Absolutely gorgeous Tracy! I just love the angle of the scrapblock and the colors. And you could certainly fool me that you don't do this style well! I think you rocked it!
