Up, Up, Up...Whoops!

Here is another card using the Birthday Surprise set from the Tom Fun Collection. I told you it was packed full of fun images. My camera has issues with the color purple but this paper is a lovely light shade of purple, from the Basic Grey Kioshi line. I spent quite a bit of time on this one, stitching, paper piecing, coloring. I was pleased with the end result and had just the right person in mind to send it to.

I took pictures of it like I always do so I could add it to the CHF gallery of samples and share it with all my lovely blog readers. I have a pretty basic set up for taking pics, a chair covered with a sheet next to the only usable window in our house that gets southern exposure. The window happens to be in our kitchen. Here is a shot so you can fully appreciate what I am going to tell you next.

Since I usually create multiple samples at a time I photograph them in the same sitting. After I was done with this particular card I set it on the window sill. There were so many layers on the card it was a bit front heavy so it fell off the sill. Can you see what happens to be right below the window sill? Yep, the dog dishes. It couldn't fall into the bone dry food dish...NOOOOO, it had to fall into the water bowl. Totally ruined. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. That blasted mutt, grumble, grumble!

Oh well, it is just a card I guess. I can make more. grumble, grumble.

At least I got a picture of it first.
